Girlfriendship is a new term I’ve coined to highlight a relationship that’s jumped the border between best friendship and more-than-friends dating. Its the gray area between dating someone and being with someone. Its the “we’re almost there” tag. I’ve got to say, I’m so happy we’re almost there. The journey has been and still is incredible! Its a relief to be with someone that doesn’t take offense to everything because they’ve got personal insecurity issues to work out. Its a blessing to be with someone that is really around because they enjoy being with me, and not because they just want to have a girlfriend. For the first time I’m really noticing the difference between the two, and the gap is spanning. I really enjoy having you around, Andie. I enjoy waking up next to you in the morning. Somehow I always manage to have an amazing day at work when my morning starts with a cup of you.
